Lisa Rossetti

Lisa is a professional coach and mentor, an Ambassador for Women's Entreprise, and a writer.  Her career spans many years in learning and development, first working with women returners on Employment Training programmes, and then as a management trainer in the NHS for 13 years.

She became increasingly disenchanted with traditional approaches to learning and development and trained as a coach with Newcastle College, and the Coach Training Institute, as well as gaining leadership coach qualifications and experience with the Forton Group Ltd.

She launched her career as a coach in her early fifties setting up Positive Lives Coaching. She started this venture with no capital - only with passion and a burning desire to lead an inspiring life which inspires others - which she describes as “sheer madness”.

As an Ambassador for Women’s Enterprise for the NWDA, she participates in projects and events to inspire women to step into business, leadership and success. She is also a Business Mentor for NWDA and Liverpool John Moores’ University.  Her current projects include delivering coaching for the North West LEAD programme (leadership development for SMEs), supporting managers trained as coaches, and promoting storytelling as a leadership skill.

Wellbeing at work, Creativity and Balance are important in Lisa’s coaching work, as well as Career Fulfillment. She especially enjoys working with women entrepreneurs, and those who want to break through the “glass ceiling” and into fulfilling careers.  Lisa is a member of the World Cafe Community.

For me, female leadership embraces collaboration over command, intuition over obsessive data collection, and inclusivity rather than charisma. Women who say 'I see that this needs changing. We can do this together', they are natural leaders in their own lives.”

Lisa is a Member of the Association for Coaching, and accredited with the International Coach Federation (ACC).
